Governance processes are defined by the Institute of Internal Auditors definition:
Governance processes deal with the procedures utilized by the representatives of the organization’s stakeholders to provide oversight of risk and control processes administered by management. The monitoring of organizational risks and the assurance that controls adequately mitigate those risks both contribute directly to the achievement of organizational goals and the preservation of organizational value. Those performing governance activities are accountable to the organization’s stakeholders for effective stewardship.
We believe that good governance means that every human, organizational, technical and financial resource increasingly support and contribute to achieving your mission and vision in a fashion that is: verifiable, measurable, efficient and effective, and in compliance with your principles, policy directives and constraints.
We help organizations refine their existing framework. As a first step in strengthening governance, we assess the current social, political, economic and regulatory environment in which the organization operates. Social, political and economic forces will shape the mission and governance needs unique to each organization.
Our approach uses the G20/OECD Principles of Corporate Governance. It offers the critical building blocks for a sound corporate governance framework. We adapt governance rules and regulations to the organization's reality.
